My First Week

After leaving the security of my job of over 11 years, designing luxury bathrooms and kitchens (for over 16 years all together) to start up on my own, as an Interior Designer, it’s been quite a daunting but extremely rewarding task. My first week as my own boss has been extremely busy, working with Graphic Designers, web designers, photographers, creating logo’s, advertising and the all important website, trying to get ready for ‘the launch’! ​​ As well as booking in two clients, before I’ve even received any business cards! ​​

So, it’s here, the day I’ve been dreaming of and working towards for over 10 years, with so much support and encouragement from my husband, family and friends, I AM MY OWN BOSS! The house is already drowning in fabric, wall paper, furniture and paint samples. Ideas are flowing, it’s a very exciting time. Looking into new season Interior Design trends, what’s hot from Milan (the design capital), Ready to wow my first clients, with my creative concepts. (oh, pink is the next colour to come in from Milan, dusky pinks, peaches, terracotta’s, watch this space…)

What will week 2 bring, now my website has launched…..?
